Star Plus' upcoming show to have a Marathi backdrop...

Tellybuzz was the first to report about the makers of Chokher Bali coming up with the Hindi remake of their popular Bengali show Maa on Star Plus.

We have also mentioned about the cast namely Sayantani Ghosh, Jatin Shah, Neena Kulkarni , Supriya Shah, Avneet Kaur (fame DID li'l champs) who will essay pivotal roles.

The original show which was on Star Jalsa had a Bengali backdrop. But the latest we hear is that the Hindi remake will have a Maharashtrain backdrop. The storyline will be more or less similar to the original show Maa.

"The production is deciding on the surname of the family as they are still confused between Pradhan and Kulkarni. The surname will be finalized after the final pilot shoot. The tentative title for the show is Maa and will be changed only if the channel demands a new name," adds a source.

After UTV's Maykee Se Bandhi Dor, Maa will be the next show on Star Plus with Marathi backdrop.

there are wayyy TOO MANY new shows coming on SP, better they focus on there current shows and which show are they gonna axe now? i hope they won't axe SGP, i love sgp...but seriously sp where are the time slots for all these shows? when are you going to put them?!! sp better not axe any good shows running right now!!

is it necessary to bash pratigya whenever any article is posted regarding ny new star plus show???pratigya luvers u come 2 our forum nd praise as much u can..no probs at all nd pratigya haters,if u dont lyk d show den dont bother nd keep on hating...doesnt matter bt plz dont bring pratigya in each nd every article .nd if u cant help criticizing a show...den plz leave our show for god's sake nd pick another one.

Why on earth is StarPlus copying flop channel Imagine TV's policy of introducing lots and lots of new shows and prematurely closing down currently running shows without any warning????????
IS STARPLUS IN COMPETITION WITH IMAGINE TV TO SEE WHICH ONE OF THEM IS THE 'FLOPPIEST' CHANNEL???
