Ali Merchant has been a prominent figure on various television programs for over a decade. He is fondly remembered for portraying characters like Rituraj in "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and Nirmaan in "Sadda Haq." Additionally, the actor gained attention by participating in the highly-discussed reality show, "Lockupp" season 1. Following the success of his debut web series, "Libaas," Ali is now preparing for his inaugural lead role in an upcoming Bollywood project. Recently, Ali shared his sweet childhood memories and reflected on how Roza and Ramadan have shaped him.

Ali Merchant shares his most exciting Ramadan tradition that he look forward to each year, Says,” I usually stay up for sehri with my family , praying together and coming up with new , healthy recipes for sehri is one of my most favourite tradition during Ramadan”

While talking about his personal experience of observing Roza during Ramadan, Ali shares what aspects of the experience he finds most fulfilling or challenging, He says, “Ramadan is not just about fasting of the body but about fasting of the soul. It’s about unlearning and learning new things to become a better human. While it’s easy to not eat and drink for 14 hours, it’s quite challenging to keep the mind free from unnecessary distractions and worldly desires.”

Ali Share his childhood memory of Ramadan that still brings a smile to his face , He shares, “My dadi used to give me 10 rupees per each fast that I would observe so I used to try hard and keep as many rozas to get more eidi.”

Ali shared his unique recipe during Sehri or Iftar that turned out surprisingly delicious, He said, “Recently, my wife has been experimenting with different flavors of smoothies, and it’s the best sehri I’ve ever had. She also made shahi tukda at home, which was healthier and better than any I’ve had outside.”
