Leonardo DiCaprio predicted co-star Margot Robbie’s Success!

Here’s how Leonardo DiCaprio knew Margot Robbie had the talent and she would be successful...

Margot Robbie and Leonardo DiCaprio

The pair - Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie who appeared together for the first time in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) were profoundly loved by the audience and the film turned out to be a massive hit. The drama/comedy flick garnered positive criticism from the critics and the magnificent pair will be once again seen in Quintin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

But now, Leo went on to reveal he could predict how talented Robbie was.

This was all after Margot had slapped him across the face during auditions, of course.

Remember that scene where Margot’s character throws a glass of water over her on-screen husband, played by Leo?

That was the moment he knew.

During an interaction to 'The Sunday Project', he said: "On 'Wolf of Wall Street', seeing Margot come in and read that scene with me I just knew I was witnessing a dynamic presence in cinema that was about to be.

"[Martin] Scorcese and myself were blown away by how much she gave back to the scene, fought back and we both immediately knew she was going to have an incredible career."

Leo and Robbie will be seen exploring their chemistry in their upcoming film. Leonardo stars as a washed-up TV actor Rick Dalton alongside Brad Pitt's stunt double alter ego Cliff Booth Dalton while Margot plays real-life late actress Sharon Tate.
