Legal woes for Daggubati family as Deccan Kitchen Hotel demolition sparks controversy

The renowned Daggubati family, including popular actors Venkatesh and Rana, along with renowned producer Suresh Daggubati and Abhiram Daggubati, find themselves entangled in legal troubles over the controversial demolition of the Deccan Kitchen Hotel in Jubilee Hills.

A complaint filed by a certain Nandakumar alleges that despite clear court orders against it, the Daggubati family orchestrated the demolition of the hotel. The complaint further accuses the family of involving Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials and local police in the unauthorized destruction. According to Nandakumar, up to 60 private bouncers were employed to carry out the demolition, resulting in losses estimated to be around 20 crores, including valuable items and furniture.

Responding to Nandakumar's plea, the court has directed the filing of a case against the Daggubati family under sections 380, 452, 448, 506, and 102b of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). An ongoing investigation is currently underway to delve deeper into the matter, which has gained attention due to the involvement of prominent figures like Venkatesh and Rana.

Despite the legal developments, none of the members from the Daggubati family have issued statements regarding the allegations or the incidents surrounding the hotel's demolition.

Venkatesh, last seen in the action thriller film "Saindhav," is awaiting news about his upcoming projects. On the other hand, Rana Daggubati is set to appear in the film 'Rakshasa Raja,' directed by Teja. While the legal proceedings unfold, it remains to be seen how the Daggubati family addresses the allegations and navigates through the legal intricacies surrounding the demolition controversy.
