‘Layered’ is one word that would define the kind of roles I look forward to: ‘Agnisakshi’ actor Aashay Mishra

Actor Aashay Mishra is a popular name in the entertainment industry. He is known for his role in ‘Story 9 months Ki’ and ‘Pyaar Ke Papad’. He was last seen as the lead in the TV show ‘Shubh Laabh’. Now, the actor is all set to be seen in the upcoming show ‘Agnisakshi… Ek Samjhauta’.

Aashay has always chosen his projects wisely, keeping in mind the parameters he wants in his characters. Revealing the things he keeps in mind while choosing a project, Aashay says, "I always look for three parameters while signing the project- a character which has layers, a story which is strong and makers. But when it comes to choosing a character, ‘Layered' is one word that would define the kind of roles I look forward to. I do believe that, as an actor, my character should be interesting, it shouldn't have to be the same predictable one. There should be an exploring factor in a character that should excite me."

When asked about the characters he has essayed earlier, Aashay says, "I am happy with the diverse pool of characters I have played till now. My characters always had layers to them and were quite interesting in playing, whether it was my character Sarangdhar Pandey in ‘Story 9 months ki’, Vaibhav in ‘Shubh Labh’ or Omkar Gupta in ‘Pyaar Ke Papad’. I consider myself lucky and fortunate that I got to play the characters of my own choice."
