Lata Mangeshkar prays for sister Usha Mangeshkar’s 'Long Life' in a birthday wish for her younger sister!

Lata Mangeshkar’s younger sister Usha Mangeshkar turned a year older today and the legendary singer penned a heartfelt note for her. Usha who turned 85 today, was blessed by her elder sister who wished for her long life. 

Taking to her Twitter handle the ‘Hothon Main Aisi Baat’ singer shared a duet performance with Usha as she wrote,  “Namaskar. Aaj meri choti behen Usha ka janamdin hai. Usha 1952 se gaa rahi hai. Main usko bahut badhaai deti hun aur aashirwad deti hun ki wo deerghayu ho, hamesha sukhi rahe aur gaati rahe” 

(Greetings. Today’s my youngest sister Usha Mangeshkar’s birthday. I convey my best wishes and blessings to her and pray for her long life. May she remain happy and melodious)

Last week, Lata Mangeshkar wished Bollywood legend Dilip Kumar who celebrated his 98th birthday on Friday. Taking to her Twitter handle, she shared a throwback picture of them. The Bharat Ratna awardee was seen helping Dilip Sahab tuck into some special treat.
