Bollywood actress Lara Dutta is celebrating her birthday today. As she turns 45, birthday wishes have poured in from her friends and fans.

Lara’s husband and retired tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi had the most adorable birthday wish as he recalled the first time he met the actress, 12 years ago.

Taking to Instagram, Mahesh shared a throwback picture from their first meeting and shared how he thought of ‘chance pe dance’. He also shared a recent picture with Lara, who is now his wife.

Lara Dutta and Mahesh tied the knot in 2011, and welcomed a daughter, Saira, the following year.

In 2000, Lara was crowned as Miss Universe and became the second Indian to win the title. She made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with Andaaz, opposite actor Akshay Kumar. She has hot films like No Entry, Partner, Housefull and Don 2 to her credit. 

Speaking of future projects, she will be seen next in the espionage thriller Bellbottom with Akshay Kumar.
