Kunal Kemmu Reacts To His Viral Tweet Over No Invitation to Disney+Hotstar Event: I Have Moved On

Actor Kunal Kemmu is all set to tickle your funny bones with his upcoming release 'Lootcase' that premiers on Disney+Hotstar on July 31, 2020.

In a recent interview, Kunal opened up about his tweet that went viral after the Disney+Hotstar event. He clarified that his intention was not to insult anyone. 

He said: "It was just a reaction to whatever I was feeling. The idea was not to put somebody in a spot or insult someone. Frankly, I have moved on."

For the unaware, Disney+Hotstar held an online press conference last week to announce the seven films releasing on the platform including Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj: The Pride of India,  Sadak 2, Dil Bechara, Big Bull,  Lootcase and Khuda Haafiz.

While actors like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan were present at the event to promote their respective films. However, Kunal Kemmu and Vidyut Jammwal went missing. This had irked the two actors over not being invited to promote their films.

Kunal had taken to social media to express his displeasure and had tweeted: 

“Izzat aur pyaar maanga nahi kamaya jaata hai. Koi na de toh usse hum chhote nahi hote. Bas maidaan khelne ke liye barabar de do chhalaang hum bhi oonchi laga sakte hai" (Respect and love can never be asked for, only earned. If someone doesn’t give it to you, it doesn’t make you small. Just give us an equal playing field, we’ll show you how high we can leap).

Vidyut Jammwal too had reacted: 

“A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES."
