Amidst the buzz, Abrar Qazi, who portrays the lead character Rajvansh Malhotra, took to social media to address the rumours. Abrar responded with a message to clarify the situation, directly calling out unreliable sources for spreading misinformation.

In his post, Abrar wrote, "Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing great! I wanted to address some rumors floating around about our show's future. It seems some self-proclaimed 'news' pages, titled as telly something, TV updates, TV gossips, etc., are having a field day spreading unfounded gossip. Remember, folks, not everything on the internet is gold…some of it is just glittery fluff worth nothing. Rest assured, you'll hear it from us first if there's real news. Thanks for your love and support."

Abrar's statement has relieved fans, who were heartbroken by the earlier rumours. While the news of Kundali Bhagya going off the air was confirmed, the uncertainty surrounding Kumkum Bhagya has left its loyal viewers on edge.
