Krishna Bhatt brings fashion sense in Lapataganj...

SAB TV's Lapataganj will have a new entry in actor Krishna Bhatt who will be responsible for giving the residents a complete makeover when it comes to the dressing sense.

According to our source, "Krishna Bhatt will play the role of Elizabeth Yadav who is a tailor by profession. He was earlier a resident of Lapataganj, but had settled in Chennai for the past three years to do a course in fashion designing. The actor will enter the show in tonight's episode. On seeing the age-old dressing sense of the residents, he decides to give them a complete makeover. While few there welcome this change, there are people who are completely against wearing modern clothes. The complete alteration even brings a rift between the thickest of friends, Bijji and Guddu. It goes to such an extent that both the friends refuse to dissolve their differences and Lapataganj Niwasis are thinking of ways and means to bring these warring friends together and resolve their woes".

When contacted, Krishna Bhatt confirmed his entry and said, "Yes, I am playing the role of Elizabeth Tailor who is back to Lapataganj after three years. His father is a Yadav and mother a Madrasi. He comes back with experience in fashion designing and aims to change the look of the residents in Lapataganj. This brings out certain rifts, which will get cleared in the next Monday's episode. Basically, we are aiming to tell viewers that even though one accepts the modern way of dressing, one should not forget his/her own culture".

As per our source, "After things get back to normalcy, the character of Eliazabeth will resume his tailoring work in Lapataganj and will continue to live there".

His entry sequence will be aired in tonight's episode..
