Kinshuk Mahajan on playing elder sibling in Pandya Store: I was really skeptical about it initially

Pandya Store on Star Plus has been receiving rave reviews for the show, the performances, and everything else that the actors have been doing. While the show continues to have a successful run, India Forums got in touch with Kinshuk Mahajan, where he spoke about if or not the character comes naturally to him and if he had apprehensions about the show being a multi-starrer and what he thinks about it now.

Ask Kinshuk, if after playing a character for such a long time, the nuances of Gautam come naturally to him, and he said, ''Yes, because initially, I was really skeptical about how will I look and how will I play an elder brother to all the grown-ups. I lost 10 pounds for the show initially because I was supposed to play a 22-year-old and then after the leap, I gained that weight back, so now, everyone says that I look like an elder brother to the 3 siblings. I guess the audience has accepted me as the elder brother to everyone.''

We also asked him if the show being a multi-starrer seemed like a big deal for him, and he thinks that everyone has their own bit to do. He said, ''Basically, when we were signed for the show, we were told the story, and we had seen the original show. So the whole story and the lead of the story is Pandya Store itself, plus when you see the show, Dhara-Gautam and the brothers. So what happens is when you want to show the show realistically, you have to involve everyone in the family, so yes. Shiva and Raavi have a different track, Dev has a different track, and ours is more of a mature story, so it is different. Every character has its own importance to the story.''
