Khushbu Rajendra, who plays the lead role of Isha Mishra in Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production’s Ram Bhavan on Colors TV, has been receiving widespread appreciation for her nuanced portrayal of a determined daughter navigating family dynamics and societal challenges. Speaking about the feedback, Khushbu shared how the show’s themes are resonating deeply with viewers.

“I believe the audience will relate to it in a big way because a lot of people in this country are facing the problem of not getting government jobs or even jobs they are qualified for,” Khushbu explained. “Especially in states like Uttar Pradesh, where people work hard, they still fail in some way or another. The theme of unemployment is personal to many, and even people in metropolitan cities face similar struggles. They don’t get the jobs they want, no matter how much they try.”

Khushbu also highlighted the authenticity of the father-daughter relationship portrayed in the show, a dynamic that has struck an emotional chord with viewers. “The father-daughter relationship, particularly Isha’s relationship with her father, is very organic and real. It mirrors everyday life and can be seen in almost every household. The pain, struggle, and misery the father goes through are incredibly relatable. While not every father may react in the same way, they do experience similar emotions when it comes to their daughters.”

Reflecting on the challenges of portraying Isha’s emotionally charged scenes, Khushbu admitted, “I do have my doubts while performing certain scenes, especially during the confrontation scene between Isha and her father. When she stands against her father for Gurnam Kaka, it surprised me too. Her determination to protect Gurnam Kaka, even at the cost of her father’s support, was so intense that I discussed it in detail with my director to get it just right.”

The actress also shared a heartfelt moment from the sets. “After one of my takes in the hospital scene, where Isha’s father suffers a heart attack, my director told me, ‘You’re working very hard,’ and that meant the world to me. Appreciation from a director touches your heart because, as an actor, you want to make them happy. That’s the biggest compliment for me.”

Ram Bhavan continues to captivate audiences with its relatable storytelling and stellar performances, with Khushbu Rajendra leading the charge as a powerhouse performer.
