Khatija Iqbal to Join Ravi Dubey in Jamai Raja 2.0!

As we know, Zee5 is bringing back the sequel of Zee TV’s popular show Jamai Raja. Retaining actors Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma and Achint Kaur from the first edition, the makers are already on the hunt for a new cast. Recently, actor Sudhanshu Pandey was roped in for the show. Now, what we hear is, the makers have welcomed another actor on-board.

According to reports, actress Khatija Iqbal, who is known for Ragini MMS and Siddhant Sachdev’s Tantra, will join the stellar cast of the upcoming show. Khatija also known as Katie, was last seen in Ullu App’s Size Matters.

Other actors like Pratik Dixit, Varun Jain and Shezali Sharma are also part of the project.

For the uninitiated, Jamai Raja was one of the most popular shows on Television, starring Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma. The show was produced by actor Akshay Kumar and co-produced by Ashvini Yardi and Meenakshi Sagar. The story centred around the bitter relationship of a mother-daughter and how the daughter’s love interest comes in their lives to change their perspectives for each other.
