Kaveri Priyam on Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke co-star Sameer Sharma's death: With me, he was all very chirpy

Earlier today, the news about Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor's death by suicide left everyone in shock. Given the tensed up situation around us already, this news is definitely not very easy to hear about. Reports suggest that he was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling and it was the night watchman who informed the society members about the same.

We got in touch with his co-star Kaveri Priyam, and she went on to say, "He was a wonderful person and a wonderful human being and a very good co-actor, a very amazing actor actually. We used to discuss our craft and he was also involved in other creative activities like making music, poetry, he used to write scripts also and pitch them to the production house, and a lot of stuff but I guess things were not working out for him during the lockdown period."

She added, "With me, he never showed his low-side and whenever we spoke, he was all very happy and chirpy and our conversations were generic. Since he stayed alone here and there was a lockdown and though I don't know anything, it could have been the whole situation."

Meanwhile, Vatsal Sheth went on to also say how he is in "absolute shock after hearing the news."
