'Kaun Banega Crorepati's' 9th season to witness changes in its format!

Sony TV is back with the 9th installment of their prized quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati and the ardent fans of the show cannot wait for it to begin. The show is confirmed to be replacing the channel's prime time thriller, Beyhadh.

And while super host, Amitabh Bachchan has already started shooting for the show, here are a few pictures from the Kaun Banega Crorepati's set.

It has been reported and confirmed that the show will undergo major and better changes.

Firstly, the show will be fast paced as compared to the previous seasons. Also, the show will air for a shorter period i.e 30 episodes.

Secondly, the makers are planning to do away with the 'phone a friend' option and replace it with 'video calling a friend' instead. The second option sounds even better, doesn't it?

The 'expert advice' part may also be scrapped and replaced by a new 'lifeline jodidaar', i.e. the contestant will be allowed to get someone they trust to help out during their time on the show.

As for the prize money, after winning the Rs. One crore mark, the contestant will be given an option to answer one jackpot question and win Rs. Seven crores. But if they do not answer the question correctly, their prize money would come down.
