As COVID-19 continues to unleash its wrath on one and all in way or another, the entertainment industry continues to be the one being most affected. After having already seen multiple postponements of to of the biggest films - RRR and RadheShyam, we are now being informed about other developments as well.
Multiple shootings have been postponed and cancelled already and another one joins the list. Sriram Raghavan directed film Merry Christmas that gets in the rare collaboration of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi has witnessed a cancellation. The team was set to travel to Delhi for the shoot of the film this month. However, they have now pushed it ahead owing to the rising COVID cases. The first schedule of the film was shot in Mumbai earlier.
Merry Christmas was the first film Katrina started working on post her wedding with Vicky Kaushal in December last year. The actress tied the knot at a royal fort in Rajasthan with their family and close friends in attendance.
The actor was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar. Apart from that, Kaif will also be seen in Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and the film will be directed by Maneesh Sharma and Phone Bhoot with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
