The Sriram Raghavan directorial, which hit screens nationwide last week, has garnered widespread positive reviews, solidifying its place as a cinematic gem.

A social media user recently captured the magic of "Merry Christmas" reaching the heart of New York, sharing a timelapse video walking through the bustling Times Square. The footage showcases the film's trailer captivating audiences on one of the colossal screens, highlighting the global resonance of this Hindi and Tamil bilingual film.

Katrina Kaif's stellar performance in "Merry Christmas" hasn't just caught the attention of audiences but has also earned accolades from none other than her husband, Vicky Kaushal. Taking to Instagram, Vicky expressed his pride, commending Katrina for her dedication to Sriram Raghavan's masterful storytelling. In his heartfelt post, he lauded her portrayal of the enigmatic character 'Maria,' emphasizing the rawness, mystery, and magic she brought to the role. Vicky hailed it as her best work to date, particularly praising a dance sequence that left an indelible mark.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, "Merry Christmas" is an adaptation of the French novel "Le Monte-charge" by Frédéric Dard. The film, shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil with different actors for each version, was initially slated for a December release but was pushed to January 12th.
