London, July 5 (IANS) British supermodel Kate Moss is preparing to launch a career in television and is reportedly in talks with 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell to become a small screen star.
Cowell is the driving force behind a string of hit TV talent shows including 'Britain's Got Talent' and the 'X Factor', and has reportedly teamed up with Britain's retail billionaire Sir Philip Green to expand his TV empire worldwide with Moss as a key figure in their plans, reports contactmusic.com.
Moss has already designed her own clothing range for Green's fashion chain Topshop, and has been snapped meeting with Cowell several times over the last few weeks and now Cowell and Green are planning to bring Moss onboard a new TV talent show.
'Sir Philip and Simon think she is a brand in her own right and would be a landmark signing, earning them and her millions. They believe Kate has far more talent than being simply beautiful. She's a natural in front of the camera and quick witted so they think she would be a great TV talent judge,' said a source.
