It is a very special day for all the married women today as they fast for the entire day for their husband just for their long life. A festival that has a lot of value to everyone, each individual have its unique way of celebrating it. Pretty and petite actress Dimple Jhangiani who was last seen in Colors Beintehaa as Barkat speaks about her fond memories of Karwa Chauth. Well what makes it even ore special is that this unmarried girl has too many fond memories with her associated to this holy festival.
Learning about this special connect of hers with the festival, we got in touch with Dimple and here is what she has to say as she goes down the memory lane -
"I have kept Karwa Chauth fast for several years because the festival is itself so much fun. That is the time when all of my friends and me used to come together and get an opportunity to dress up well and roam around. Yes, fasting for the whole day was not easy but all of us kept ourselves indulged in a lot many things. We used to watch back to back two to three movies in the theater and then end up into a chat and gossip session. Amid all of this, we used to just forget that we are fasting for a festival. I still remember, we used to go to a friends terrace and play Damsharaaz while we we were all waiting for the Chand (moon) to arrive. I truly loved celebrating this festival as it kept me attached to my roots and traditions. The best part is that all of us used to rejoice this festival just to accompany few of my friends who have kept fasts. But alas, since a year or two I have not kept a Karwa Chauth fast because of work issues and other stuffs. But yes, I have some really fond memories attached to this festival," concludes Dimple.
Well Dimple, must say, it is not that easy to stay without water and food like you just told us. Takes a lot of guts.
