Karuna Pandey bags Somersault's 'Khauff'

As reported earlier, Somersault is in full gear with its new thriller show on Life OK, named Khauff. The show is said to be based on paranormal activities and special investigation journalism, respectively.

The makers have already locked in talented actors like Sameer Soni, Megha Shroff, Abigail Jain and Manoj Verma as the chief characters of the show. 

However, with the latest development at the casting end, a little birdie chirped, "The latest entry to join the bandwagon of Khauff is telly town actress Karuna Pandey. Most probably, Karuna will be essaying the role of a psychologist in the show."

Our source also went on to say, "For quite a while, the makers of the show were hunting for a good-looking actress who would suit the strong character of a psychiatrist. In fact, even Rucha Gujrathi was approached for the same role, but things did not materialize with her. But now, Karuna has bagged the role, is confirmed."

The actress Karuna Pandey is presently seen as a part of Sahara One's popular show Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga as Charu Chirag Chauhan.

On being contacted, Karuna confirmed the news, saying, "Yes,I am a part of this new show Kahuff. My character is named Kamini who has a daughter of six years old. Basically, I'm playing the role of a child psychologist and seek help from JD (Sameer Soni) who is a paranormal researcher."

As per our sources, "The shooting for the show has already commenced and is going to be a bi-weekly. Most likely, it is slated to go on air by first week of November!"
