Kartik Aaryan not collaborating with Sanjay Bhansali for 'Baiju Bawra'

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali only recently wrapped up Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia Bhatt and it has indeed been quite a taxing process and long shoot where it kept getting delayed due to multiple reasons time and again.

And now, like is the case with Bhansali and his upcoming projects, there are rumors already of him restarting his once-dream project, Baiju Bawra.

It was recently reported that Kartik Aaryan might star in the film, after Ranbir Kapoor stepped out of the project.

But a Pinkvilla reports confirms that none of that is true and Aaryan is not collaborating with Bhansali for the film. 

This comes in lieu of Aaryan being spotted outside Bhansali's office multiple times lately. In the last couple of months, Aaryan has been spotted outside Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office many times, and while they are discussing a possible collaboration, it's not for Baiju Bawra or Heera Mandi.

While Baiju Bawra is still a question as to when will it start and who will star in it, Heera Mandi is definitely kickstarting soon where it will be a 8-episode series on Netflix which willl be set in the late 1800s to 1950s.

The series will reportedly feature Madhuri Dixit, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Nimrat Kaur and Sayani Gupta in pivotal roles.

While Bhansali will direct the first and last episodes, Vibhu Puri will helm the rest of the episodes.
