Kareena Kapoor Appointed as UNICEF India's Celebrity Advocate

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan continues to be a trailblazer in ever sense where apart from having a stellar career, she is now pregnant for the second time too. Adding another feather to her cap, she was recently appointed as UNICEF India’s Celebrity Advocate.

Today, she took to her Instagram account on the occasion of World Children’s Day, she wished every child across the globe and urged people to join her to help the children who need to have a better future. She spoke about COVID-19 pandemic that has affected several children across the globe thus putting a pause on their education.

Sharing the video on her Instagram account she wrote, “#worldchildrensday This #WorldChildrensDay I invite everyone to #reimagine a better future #ForEveryChild. Join me and @unicefindia to address the learning crisis. #reimagine #ForEveryChild” In the video, she is heard saying that this initiative is very close to her as it all about providing the most essential element for a child that is education. She says, “Its UNICEF’ global initiative for the children, by the children. As UNICEF’S celebrity advocate, education, and making sure that every child has the opportunity to learn is close to my heart.”
