Karanvir Sharma: I have completed a decade but I think my dues have come to me now

Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani's Karanvir Sharma aka Shaurya has garnered immense praise for himself with the role and all of the work that he continues to do. The actor recently completed a decade in the industry and in no time, fans made multiple trends on social media about the same. India Forums got in touch with KV and asked him about the same, his journey, his struggles, and some more.

About the trend, he tells us, ''It is very sweet to see fans do these trends on social media and acknowledge your work and I feel humbled and absolute gratitude. I fall short of words but all I can say is thankyou. I have completed a decade but I think my dues have come to me now, there's an upward scale that I am looking at now.''

He also spoke about his journey and what he feels about the highs and lows he's been through. The actor says, ''Some of my journey, a long ago, I had heard that someone told someone that you became a star overnight, and got successful, and the other person says that you don't know how long was that night. I've been through my struggles. Highs and lows are always going to be a part of your life, you just have to deal with it and roll with the punches.''

He added, ''My failures have made me a better performer, but I also feel that an artist is also a scientist, who fails a million times till he gets the perfect shot or the ingredient to that performance. Having said that, having come so far, I feel that everyday is a learning curve and the more you learn, the better you grow. Your failures also make you very very humble, it keeps you rooted so I feel they are also required.''

Lastly, on what is ahead of him and what is he looking forward to, he tells us, ''I am currently in talks with going to an OTT platform, so that's something I am considering, there is a film that I've completed and I am really looking forward. Coming about looking forward, I want good roles in television and web space or feature films, just good roles and that's about it.''
