Karan V Grover of Udaariyaan: Priyanka and everyone else have contributed so highly, you have to match it

Karan V Grover entered Colors' show Udaariyaan as Angad Maan and his character has definitely been winning hearts. The chemistry with Priyanka Choudhary, his arc, and the performance, have all been lovely so far. The actor spoke to India Forums about how has the response been so far and what is it like to enter a show which has been consistently garnering good numbers.

About the journey, he tells us, ''The journey has been really fun so far because now, there's only friendship between Angad and Tejo, there's past life for her which she is recovering from, Angad's past life is a mystery and solving all those things and then including romance between that will be really fun.''

About the numbers, he said, ''It is very overwhelming because when I came, the show was already at the top, Priyanka and everyone else have contributed so highly to the show, all the hard work they've done, you have to match it and you can't let them down or be a disappointment or stand out like a sore thumb.''

He adds, ''When Angad's character came, I did not know what will happen, because it is new for me, I have an experience as Karan, so if he is in frame with Tejo, there's a fan following for her and a base for her do matching that and delivering that becomes very important. I am very happy that people have accepted us and I am thankful for all the love. It is good to hear that there's no loss that your entry has caused.''

Karan plays the role of Angad and is paired opposite Priyanka's Tejo. The show also features Ankit Gupta and Isha Malviya in lead roles.
