Karan Tacker who essays the role of Shantanu in Star One's Rang Badalti Odhani, produced by Yash Patnaik and Swapna Waghmare Joshi has taken ill from last week.

Our source from the sets says, "Karan was seen on the sets last Friday. He was running very high temperature and when he visited the doctor, he was diagnosed to be having malaria. Karan has not been able to make it to the sets. However, the team has been shooting at his house for his close scenes".

We could not get in touch with Karan, but Yashashri Masurkar told us, "Yes, it is true that Karan has not been keeping well. He has high temperature and is not able to make it to the set. But one unit is shooting with him at his place. They shot with him yesterday, and are perhaps shooting today also".

As per the present track, Shantanu has got to know that the company which is making his album is owned by Rahul (Manish Raisinghania). Shaan has pulled off from the contract and has eventually fallen into Rahul's trap, which is to sue Shaan and put him behind bars.

Yashashri told us, "Shaan's scenes have been reduced as of now and we will see the story moving ahead only after Karan gets back".

We wish Karan a speedy recovery..
