Karan Sharma gets his hands on his first ever car, which also happens to be the first car in his entire extended family!

Karan Sharma, a small town boy who's made his place in the Indian television industry, is super-excited after purchasing his first set of wheels!

Karan tells us, "I bought a sky blue second hand Hyundai Accent. It perfectly fit my budget as well as the measurements."

Measurements? He laughs out loud and clarifies, "Yes, since childhood I've always had this fascination for lambi gaadi (long cars). So even though I could've got a compact car in first hand I chose to buy this one."

Karan's family members back in the village, especially his parents are experiencing 'a mixture of shock and glee' as he puts it. "My father took the news normally until I said I'm buying a four-wheeler. This completely got him off-guard. He was shocked that I'm buying a car. He said but the prices are high in this budget. But I told him its second hand so he was relieved. But then again since it's a high-end vehicle he was like – 'beta, I hope you're not into anything wrong.' I had a tough time convincing that I've earned my money in the right way (laughs),"Karan tells us.

Well, going by the affinity of Karan for length we wish him all the luck for his future limousine too!
