Kapil says, "I'm right now in Kulu Manali. The weather is very crisp here. I'm with some of my friends and we all just took off from Mumbai on the 25th."
His journey from Mumbai to Manali has been a joyride. He says, "From Mumbai I directly came to Delhi where I visited some friends and family. Then I went to Chandigarh and spent a day and night over there. I also visited Solang, one of the beautiful places in India where the weather is perfect for paragliding. Of course, I did it too."
Kapil tells more about his escapade as he goes on, "I also did trekking in the mountains. Then I went to Byeas nala where you will find an ice cap of about four to five feet. A lot of times, I tripped and fell, it was scary. But I also had fun (smiles)."
So what else is on the cards? "River rafting in Shivpuri which is not very far from Rishikesh," comes the quick reply. Kapil adds, "I'm also expecting to see snowfall today, as it is my last day in Manali and you know how famous this place is for snowfall. The clouds are there. Let's see when they decide to sprinkle the snowflakes."
After travelling northwards upto Rishikesh, Kapil will head back to Delhi from where he will make a short stop at Jaipur. By the 8th or 9th he will be back in the city.
So does Kapil returning to Mumbai mean the return of Yudi in Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat? "I don't want to comment on that. Right now I'm having fun. After two years of work, I've finally gotten this break and I don't want to spoil the enjoyment by talking about work," signs off Kapil.
