Kanwar Dhillon: Pandya Store did for me what Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee couldn't do

Every single show or project in an actor's career, does new things for them and works out to their advantage in one way or the other. Kanwar Dhillon, who is currently seen in Pandya Store, has worked across multiple shows and has managed to make a name for himself. However, the actor agrees that Pandya Store has paved the way for him in a certain way.

Talking to India Forums, Kanwar opened up about the kind of work he wishes to do and also looked back on his past work, in the form of Star Plus show Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee. He said, ''I have always been a big fan of action films, been a fan of Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan style action. I get very excited at the idea of action, even on our TV show, I want to explore that zone of mine in my career. I think from this show, people are also seeing a romantic side of me, and I would like to explore that side more.''

He added, ''Even before this show, Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee was on a similar line, but the only problem there was that it was a Star Dopahar show, and then 6 shows went off-air altogether, so that show never got the opportunity to hold on, it was still doing well. But whatever the deal was that time. I still feel like that show would still be running if it was on a different time slot, and that show unleashed different potential in me as an actor and is a show that is really close to my heart. I kind of shifted the graph from that show only, but what that show couldn't do at that time because of the slot issue, Pandya Store did that to me. There's a lot that I want to explore.''

The show also features Shiny Doshi, Kinshuk Mahajan, Akshay Kharodia, Simran Budharup, among others in pivotal roles.
