Kanwar Dhillon and Vishal Jethwa reach for Tunisha Sharma’s last rites

Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case has left everyone shocked. At the young age of twenty years, the actress gave up on her life followed by an apparent heartbreak.

Tunisha’s last rites will be performed today. Since a few hours, police officials, relatives and friends of the actress started to reach her residence in Mira Road, Mumbai. Kanwar Dhillon was one of the first people to reach the location. Just like a family member, Dhillon has been making sure that the last rites are performed peacefully and has been seen requesting the media to co-operate and let them grief in peace. 

The priest who’s supposed to carry forward the procedure has also reached the location. In one of the media bytes, the priest stated that the mahurat of cremation is slated from 3pm to 5pm.

Vishal Jethwa who had worked with Tunisha in one of her shows, also marked his attendance. He was visibly upset but refused to give any statements to the media. 

Tunisha hanged herself on the sets of her Sony SAB show ‘Alibaba: Daastan-e- Kabul’. Reports have it that Tunisha was apparently in a relationship with Sheezan Mohammed who plays the character of Alibaba in the show.

As per reports, Sheezan and Tunisha broke-up recently, which affected Tunisha’s mental- health a lot. She took the drastic step on an unfortunate afternoon of 24th December 2022.  Tunisha’s mother Anita Sharma has filed an abatement to suicide complaint against Sheezan and police has detained him until 28th of December 2022. There were rumours about Tunisha’s pregnancy but Police officers have ruled that out and stated that nothing of that sort has appeared on the autopsy report.
