Kanika Kapoor was tested positive for coronavirus and she was under quarantine for three weeks ago. Now, the singer took her sixth test for coronavirus and she was reportedly tested negative.  

According to a recent report in LiveHindustan, she has been discharged from the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. 

A previous report claimed that she was tested negative for the fifth test as well and she would be discharged if she was tested negative for the sixth test as well. 

While the singer has been discharged, she still has problems in her hand. Three FIRs have been filed against the singer under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar police station in Lucknow. 

The FIR was lodged by the chief medical officer (CMO) of Lucknow. 

Kanika reportedly returned from the UK to Mumbai on March 9 and arrived in Lucknow two days later. She tested positive on March 20. The reports also claim that she attended several parties on her return. The singer’s social activities posed dangerous for everyone around her as she was tested positive for novel coronavirus. She was seen partying with several close friends and family members. The virus has infected over 1,600 people in India, and close to 9,00,000 across the world.

Currently, Kanika is on her way back home after 18 days as she was discharged from the hospital this morning.
