Kangana Ranaut seeks divine blessings at Kamakhya Shakti Peeth, shares spiritual experience

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut made a divine visit to Kamakhya Shakti Peeth on Wednesday, immersing herself in the spiritual ambience of the revered temple. Arriving at Kamakhya the previous evening, Kangana offered special prayers at the temple, coinciding with the reopening of its doors for devotees after the conclusion of the celebrated Ambubasi Maha Yog.

In a video that surfaced online, Kangana was captured gracefully posing in a traditional suit adorned with a vibrant red dupatta while engaging in heartfelt prayers at the sacred temple. 

She complemented her attire with a striking red teeka, symbolizing her reverence for the divine energy. Expressing her sentiments, Kangana shared, "Aaj Kamakhya mae ke mandir mein darshan kiye... Iss mandir mein jagatjannani maeya ki yoni roop mein puja hoti hai... yeh mayi ki shakti ka virat roop hai jahan mayi ko maas aur bali ka bhog lagta hai, yeh pavitra sthan ek shakti peeth hai... jahan shakti ka adbhut sanchar hai... kabhi Guwahati aana hua toh darshan zarur karein... Jai mayi ki 🙏" (Translation: Today, I had the privilege of seeking blessings at Kamakhya temple... This temple is where the divine mother's yoni is worshipped in all its glory, where offerings of meat and sacrifices are made. It is a sacred place, a power center where incredible energy circulates... If you ever visit Guwahati, do pay a visit... Hail to the divine mother 🙏).

Notably, Kangana's previous visit to the state was for the shooting of her upcoming movie, "Emergency," where she not only plays the lead role but also takes care of the directorial responsibilities. 

Alongside Kangana, the film features a stellar cast including Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shreyas Talpade, among others. While Kangana announced "Emergency" as a political drama in 2021, she clarified that the film is not a biopic of Indira Gandhi, instead offering a distinct perspective on the era.
