Kanchi Singh celebrates Children's Day in a special way!

While we are all greeting each other and recalling our good old childhood days on the occasion of Children's Day today, pretty and talented Kanchi Singh celebrated Children's Day in a very special way.

Kanchi, who rose to fame with Zee TV's popular show 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya', celebrated Children's Day today with some NGO Kids. It turned out to be a very special one for the kids as well as for Kanchi. Let's know more about it from Kanchi herself...

Kanchi told us, "There is an NGO called 'Prayaas' where they educate the students who belong to the slums and also provide them food and other basic facilities like books, medical facilities, etc. I was called to the NGO by one of my friends. There were around 300-350 kids whom I met today. In the last 20 years of my life, I celebrated Children's Day for the very first time and it was a very nice experience for me. I never celebrated Children's Day as a kid and I felt really good to celebrate it today in this way and it was really worth doing it. I even thanked my friend for calling me there. I wanted to do every bit of it, whatever was happening there. My mindset has changed seeing everyone so well behaved and well managed there."

Kanchi also had some lovely fan encounters among the little ones. She shared, "They all knew me as Avani and I was really shocked to learn that there was a small kid who knew the exact details like total number of episodes aired of 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya'! They were so young and they knew about our show as they used to watch it regularly. It's been the best Children's Day for me."
