Kamlesh Kunti Singh, the renowned writer holds the honor of conceiving the concept of Zee TV's popular show, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo which has the backdrop of Bihar. The writer felt the urge of showing the brighter side of civilization that prevailed in Bihar, and this gave rise to the acclaimed concept and story line.

Kamlesh is an upset man today, as he feels that the Bihari community has been let down, with the way the state has been portrayed today in Indian television. "Today, I want to apologize to all the Biharis, for coming up with a concept as Agle Janam. Ever since I started off this trend, there have been various shows aired, in which things are shown which do not happen for real in Bihar. The goodness of Bihar is being drowned by certain irresponsible writers who have grown their hair long, and claim to be intellectuals. I do not blame the channels or production houses, but it is the writers who have to be stopped".
Talking about a certain incident that happened when he was in Bihar, the Writer states, "When I go to Bihar, there are many people who come up to me and ask how a show can depict such derogatory stuff about their state. It's a pity that we are allowing such concepts to flourish on television".
Kamlesh Kunti Singh goes on, saying "To top it all, the language used in the shows today is simply not the way in which the people there converse in day to day life. The shows usually show people conversing in obscene and abusive language".
"Today Bihar has become a TRP zone, so I earnestly request the channels to take account of this, and show the state in good light. I appeal to the Biharis in the channels to stop such writers and put them in place. I cannot tell you how livid I am at the way writers sell their values for the sake of money. Hope we see a better tomorrow", signs off the writer.
Going by what Kamlesh Kunti Singh has to say, the question that lingers now is whether we need to stand up and pay heed to this, or let go of it? It is for the readers to decide!!
