Juhi Parmar clears the air about her career ending!

A few days ago there was an article in a reputed newspaper about Juhi Parmar Shroff, famously known as Kumkum of Star Plus' Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. The news made her furious and retaliate about the same on Twitter. The article had the news that a new  season of Bigg Boss will have the winners of previous seasons. Among others, Juhi too was a winner of Bigg Boss season 5. In a gist, this article spoke about each contestant and whether they would want to participate in the winners' season.

In the article, it was written that Juhi's career has ended post Bigg Boss. Also, the incorrect fact that she got married to Sachin Shroff post her stint in Bigg Boss.

In our conversation with Juhi Parmar, she speaks about her end of the story and the kind of blunder that made her furious.

Says Juhi, "The journalist had called me for a story that she was working on and she asked me that how I was benefited, career wise, post Bigg Boss. I answered her saying Bigg Boss obviously have benefited me in a lot of ways. Back then, people only knew me as Kumkum but during and post Bigg Boss, people started knowing me as Juhi. Many producers did offer me shows but I chose to plan a family."

"The article in the paper read I married soon after I got out of the house but the fact is that I was married before I entered the house. I got married in the year 2009. The statement that says my career ended post Bigg Boss is directly attacking the show. It is like Bigg Boss has done absolutely nothing for me. In fact I would say, Bigg Boss has totally given me a different kind of fame. There is a lot of difference between ‘going on a break’ for a while and ‘career coming to an end’. The journalist has misquoted me. I told her that I would love to be a part of Bigg Boss in all possible ways if it is coming up with an all winners season. Since my daughter is too young, I cannot manage to take up by the time the season begins. However, if my daughter is grown up a little, I would love to be associated with the show. I understand that the journalists have to concise the matter in few lines but one cannot change the meaning of what has been told."

Juhi further adds, "I had asked for an apology and also that if they cannot do so, I am all fine with it. But all I wanted was to undo the article. I had called up to do so but they reverted saying we cannot do anything about it. The journalist justified herself saying she got confused between the quotes she had taken from other actors. This newspaper was the one who covered maximum stories on my wedding and at many occasions but this kind of behavior was absolutely annoying and upsetting. I have a good relationship with the publication and I will not have any kind of grudge against it. But, any time in future if that journalist calls me up for something, I will be skeptical to give her a quote or an interview. The publication surely didn’t know. They just published what the journalist gave them to. It was not that I didn’t want to take up shows but I chose to be with my family. It would be very unprofessional of me taking up a show and cannot give my best to it. Also, with this, my health too would have gone on a toss. I would not had been able to do full justice to with my work as well as my family," ends Juhi.
