With a
plethora of reality shows which showcase a multitude of talent on Indian
Television along with the variety of contestants we also get to see judges who
comment, rate and rank the participants.
Let's take a
look at some of them -

Laughter
Riot - When it comes to laughing her guts out it has to be none other than
Archana Puran Singh who has been judging the various
seasons of Comedy Circus and is currently judging
Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali on
Sony TV. She has done many roles in Films and TV
most of them comic so it is no surprise that she is the best one to judge a
comedy shows. And that she enjoys her job is much evident when she goes on a
laughter trip on something that she really likes. Her laughter is infectious
and what's more she doesn't mind being the target of the contestants jokes too.

Sporting -
Malaika Arora Khan on
India's Got Talent Season 5 on
Colors comes across as someone who applauds, appreciates and interacts well with the participants many of them are from humble backgrounds and need encouragement. You will never see her
getting scared while watching a dangerous stunt in fact, she is the most
enthusiastic amongst the three judges to encourage the contestant and is happy
when they do well.

Dramatic -
Whether it is Jhalak Dikhla Jaa or India's Got Talent,
Karan Johar has a dramatic
personality which comes to fore when he is watching with intent and then later
when he comes up with his comments. And then when he is requested to dance he dramatizes
the steps and his expressions too.

Technical -
These have to be the choreographers whether is
Terence Lewis on
Nach Baliye season 6 on
Star Plus,
Remo Dsouza on Jhalak Diklha Jaa or
Geeta Kapur on
Dance India Dance Season 4 on
Zee TV. They
look at the performance in detail and are bang on to pick up flaws or praise
real talent.

Lovable -
Wearing lovely sarees and accessories,
Kirron Kher is the only judge on India's
Got Talent to have been around for each of the 5 seasons. That does come as a
surprise when you see how scared she is while watching the stunts being
performed. She tries to hide behind her
pallu when she does not want to see
what's happening, and when she is enjoying some act and finds it funny you see
her patting
Karan Johar and laughing her heart out. At the end of it she is
most encouraging to the contestants of the show and is never falls short of
praising them where it is due.

Stylish - Whether
it is western outfits or gorgeous sarees to get the Indian look, the svelte and
happening
Shilpa Shetty cuts a perfect hour glass figure and is by far the most
stylish judge. Matching her tall personality with her genuine
laughter, she is seen enjoying what she is doing.
Yeh judge toh super se oooper stylish hai!

Questionable
- That has to be the recent case of Sajid Khan who was one of the judge on Nach Baliye 5. In the first episode itself he went on to declare Gurmeet Choudhary - Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary as
the winners since they had given an excellent performance. He went on to
encourage them and said it more than once that he wanted them to be the winners.
With one particular judge showing this kind of favoritism it was a bit of
injustice to the rest of the contestants some of them doing much better than
Gurmeet - Debina. At the end, they lost to Rithvik Dhanjani - Asha Negi and even when the
winners were announced and everyone was on stage Sajid looked disappointed as
he stood besides his favorite Jodi.

Old is Gold -
Mithun Chakraborty on Dance India Dance is the ultimate master of all of them
coming in with a lot of experience which shows in his expert comments which is
many a times the final word as judgement. While he is always soft spoken with
everyone present and speaks after thinking twice, he doesn't mind correcting
the 3 young judges when required. And since he is a great dancer too he joins
in to do a jig whenever asked for.
