Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie have not reconciled yet

Veteran actor andAngelina Jolie's dad Jon Voight says that media reports about him making amends with his estranged daughter are wrong. Jolie had cut him out of her life after he claimed she was unbalanced.

During a tearful TV interview in 2002, The ‘Midnight Cowboy’ star claimed that Jolie was suffering from "severe emotional problems". The pair fell out then and is not on talking terms since. Moreover Jolie has still not forgiven Voight for being unfaithful to her mother French actress Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away in January this year.

There have been countless media speculations but in reality Voight has not yet met his four grandchildren and nothing of that sort has happened.

"There's been talk about that, but we haven't been in touch yet. I certainly send her all my love and I always wish the best for her and the kids. I haven't seen them (the kids) yet."
