Jio MAMI Film Festival: Priyanka Chopra, Kareena, Sonam & other B-Town stars light up the event with glam

Mumbai, the epicenter of the Indian film industry, recently witnessed a dazzling spectacle as the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival kicked off in grand style at the prestigious Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). The opening night was a star-studded affair, with Bollywood's crème de la crème gracing the event, setting the red carpet on fire with their jaw-dropping looks and charisma. The opening ceremony was truly a royal affair, thanks to none other than Priyanka Chopra, who also serves as the Chairperson of the Mumbai Film Festival. 

The global icon arrived in India in style and donned a stunning white gown adorned with golden stripes, which she paired with an elegant matching cape. Her Instagram feed was instantly set ablaze with images from her photoshoot, and she captioned one of the posts with "Opening night" along with heart and namaste emojis, encapsulating the essence of the evening. 

Fashionista Sonam Kapoor was another vision of elegance. She graced the red carpet in a black Audrey Hepburn-style dress, exuding timeless charm and grace, reminiscent of the golden age of Hollywood. The begum of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan, made a grand entrance at the festival, accompanied by her husband, Saif Ali Khan, and sister, Karisma Kapoor. 

Kareena stole the spotlight with her head-turning appearance in a black dress featuring a daring deep V-neck. Her hair was elegantly tied in a bun, and she added a touch of color with pink jewelry and sleeves. Saif Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor arrived in perfect coordination, both dressed in pristine white attire, showcasing their unmatched style. 

Rajkummar Rao, looked dapper in a brown suit paired with a crisp white shirt. His partner, Patralekhaa, radiated in a fuchsia pink and yellow ensemble, complete with a wavy hairdo and statement jewelry, epitomizing glamour. 

Renowned filmmaker Zoya Akhtar chose an understated yet striking black silk kaftan outfit for the occasion, perfectly complementing her artistic aura. Shanaya Kapoor made her presence felt at this star-studded event, dressed in a mesmerizing emerald green strap dress. Her look was accentuated by a wavy hairdo, dewy makeup, and minimal jewelry. 

The opening ceremony also witnessed the presence of several popular Bollywood and South Indian stars, including Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha, the rumored couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth, Riteish Deshmukh, Bhumi Pednekar, Tara Sutaria, Sobhita Dhulipala, Ishaan Khatter, and many others.
