Jhanak: The Bose family is left stranded on the streets after losing the case against Lalon

Star Plus' Jhanak takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster. After reuniting with her estranged father, Brij Bhushan, and his subsequent death, Jhanak finds support in Aniruddha. However, her decision to marry him becomes complicated when she learns of Arshi's pregnancy, leading Jhanak to call off the wedding and urge Aniruddha to marry Arshi instead.

The plot thickens when a man claiming to be Brij Bhushan's lawyer arrives with news of a property Jhanak inherits. In a shocking twist, Jhanak is kidnapped by Shristi and Kulbushan. Fearing Jhanak's presence will disrupt the peace between Arshi and Aniruddha, Shristi, driven by desperation, teams up with Kulbushan to eliminate the threat to their carefully laid plans.

When Shubu finally arrives, Tanuja anxiously asks if they've won the case, hoping they wouldn't have to leave their home. As the family waits for answers, Aniruddha walks down, sensing the tension in the air. Shubu, clearly shaken, hands over the court notice to Laal. As Laal reads the shocking court order, it stuns everyone in the room. Shubu grimly announces that Lalon has left them stranded on the streets. He further reveals that they must vacate the house and leave immediately. This revelation leaves everyone in disbelief, with Shubu glancing at Aniruddha, who, too, is deeply shaken.

For context, Lalon and his mother were once wealthy, living in a grand palace, but a mysterious downfall led them to a much humbler existence. It's Aniruddha's father who played a significant role in Lalon's downfall. He had once worked under Lalon's father and, through deceit, misappropriated the company's funds, ultimately leading to the tragic death of Lalon's father.
