Jhanak: Jhanak stands up for her mother, leaving Arshi and Srishti speechless

In tonight’s episode of Jhanak, the episode opens with Jhanak (Hiba Nawab) reassuring Aniruddha of her well-being and suggesting that he can leave since Aditya is there to support her. Aniruddha feels deeply hurt by Jhanak’s apparent indifference. Meanwhile, Shristi and Arshi express their disapproval of Jhanak, questioning whether she was intoxicated the previous night. Despite Jhanak’s denial, her explanation is disregarded.

Aniruddha is prohibited from assisting Jhanak with her bandage, leading him to decide to leave in frustration. Shristi and Arshi further encourage him to move on, asserting that Jhanak is now in love with Aditya. Jhanak is unfairly compared to her mother and labeled as ungrateful. In response, she defends both herself and her mother, leaving Arshi and Srishti at a loss for words. She points out that her mother committed suicide and questions Srishti if she needs reminding of her role in driving her mother to that tragic decision. Jhanak firmly declares that she will not accept any more insults and asks them to forget her. She also expresses her gratitude to Aniruddha for his past support, promising to repay him by working diligently for everyone and taking care of his family.

Aditya introduces Jhanak to a renowned director:

Lalan decides to leave the city to distance himself from Appu’s affection, fearing that he might become too attached. Chhoton is distressed by Lalan’s decision, especially after learning that Bablu has arranged Lalan’s marriage to Appu. Chhoton is initially sceptical but is eventually reassured that Lalan can indeed marry Appu in the future. Overwhelmed with emotion, Lalan is deeply touched by the support and promises to take care of Appu with his family. Aditya backs Jhanak, commenting that while Srishti may be a great dancer, she is a small person in character. He then tells Jhanak that they need to head to the audition. This statement angers Arshi and Srishti, with Arshi urging Aniruddha to leave since they are being insulted. They then exit the scene.

Later, Aditya offers Jhanak a significant opportunity by introducing her to a renowned director who is looking for a fresh face for an upcoming film. Aditya believes Jhanak has the talent required for the role and recommends her.

Tension rises at the Bose household:

At the Bose household, tensions rise as Tanuja and Vipasha provoke their husbands to leave the house. Shubha’s parents become furious when Shubha and Lal decide to move out due to their inability to tolerate Lalan’s presence. Bablu’s decision to finalize Appu and Lalan’s marriage exacerbates their anger, leading to disappointment with Shubha’s elder son, who they believe lacks financial stability.

During the audition, as Jhanak is engrossed in reading her script, she notices Aditya peeking at it, leading to a brief conversation between them. Meanwhile, the director provides instructions on how to deliver the performance effectively, including advice on how to evoke the right emotions. Jhanak listens and is reminded of her past experiences with Aniruddha.
