Jhanak: Jhanak loses her calm after Shrishti questions her upbringing & comments on her mother

The episode begins with Anirudh extending an apology to Jhanak, offering her a gift. She hesitates, citing her status as a maid, but Anirudh insists it's a genuine gesture. The exchange reminds him of Urvashi's letter. Jhanak expresses concern about potential gossip and taunts if she accepts the gift. Anirudh urges her to take the saree, asserting it's the first time he's giving her something. They engage in a brief argument, and Jhanak eventually apologizes, acknowledging his kindness. Anirudh persuades her to accept the saree, assuring her that she can say it's from Kashmir if questioned.

Meanwhile, Tejas confronts the villagers, pressuring them for information about Jhanak. The villagers claim ignorance, but Tejas accuses them of lying and intensifies his threat. Anirudh, elsewhere, advises Jhanak on building a future through education and independence to overcome societal humiliation. Jhanak questions his concern, to which Anirudh responds by asking her to take the saree to avoid hurting his feelings. Reluctantly, Jhanak agrees, making him promise not to repeat such gestures.

Tejas continues his aggressive tactics, demanding information about Jhanak. A villager reveals that she has eloped with Anirudh, providing a picture as proof. Tejas, shocked, decides to reward the informant and rushes home.

At the family puja, Mimi sings, and the atmosphere is festive. Anjana reads the Panchaali, and Dada instructs everyone to cover their feet to prevent Gangajal from falling on them. Jhanak feels out of place and is reluctant to wear new clothes. Appu looks for her, and Anirudh urges Jhanak to change. The family notices her absence and expresses disappointment. Arshi offers her clothes, but Anirudh insists on providing new attire for Jhanak.

Appu finds a red saree in Jhanak's cupboard and wonders why she hasn't worn it. Mimi suggests that Arshi's designer clothes and accessories be given to Jhanak. However, Bipasha taunts Jhanak, who brushes it off, stating that a crow can't wear a peacock feather. Appu brings out a red saree from Jhanak's cupboard, and Tanuja advises not to argue with people of lower standards.
