Jhanak: Jhanak completes her sindoor ceremony, Anirudh contemplates on what to gift her

The episode begins with Anirudh expressing his helplessness and inability to attend an event. Shrishti questions him, calling him Rahul, and brings up Rahul and Jhanak's past affair. Anirudh denies being Rahul and clarifies that Jhanak is his wife. Tanuja and Shubh accuse Jhanak of lying since her arrival. Anirudh defends Jhanak, admitting that she had hidden the truth, but it was necessary. Shubh argues that Jhanak makes mistakes every day, and Anirudh apologizes for his past mistakes.

Shrishti advises them to inform Tejas about their marriage, questioning how long they can keep running. Anirudh requests time to make everything right, emphasizing Tejas's anger. Pandit begins the rituals, and Dadi instructs Jhanak and her husband to recite the mantras aloud. Anjana and Appu notice Jhanak crying.

Amidst the rituals, Lal questions Anirudh about sindoor for the ritual. Anirudh confirms having sindoor but is told he cannot apply it. Lal instructs him to hold the sindoor and chant mantras. Shubh criticizes the unconventional nature of the video call marriage, demanding Jhanak to apply sindoor conventionally. Anirudh complies with the rituals, and Jhanak applies sindoor to her maang. Shrishti notices a band on Anirudh's hand and wonders where he is.

After the ceremony, Shrishti and Arshi confront Anirudh about his absence. Anirudh explains that he had an important meeting and apologizes for forgetting the call. Arshi shares the news of Jhanak's marriage, and Anirudh expresses his gratitude. Shrishti suspects something unusual, asking where Jhanak's husband is. Anirudh assures them that he will come and take Jhanak.

Later, Anirudh changes jackets, and Arshi calls him for a video call. Shrishti questions him about his meeting. Arshi informs him about the completion of Jhanak's marriage and urges him to take Jhanak. Anirudh assures her that he will, and Shrishti insists on making a video call. During the call, Anirudh talks with Arshi and Shrishti, and Shrishti taunts Jhanak. Arshi asks him about Jhanak's husband and the peculiar video call marriage. Anirudh assures them that everything is fine, and the call ends.

Back at the ceremony, Anjana suggests that Jhanak can break her fast. Dadi insists on celebrating with sweets and questions whether Jhanak's husband also fasted. Jhanak is unsure and reveals her lack of knowledge about her husband's fasting habits. Shrishti criticizes Jhanak for not discussing such important customs with her husband.

Dadi gifts sarees and gold earrings to Jhanak, emphasizing their societal respect. Anjana and Appu encourage Jhanak to accept the gifts. Anirudh arrives and joins the family, expressing surprise at the gathering. Dadi mentions they came to bless Jhanak, and Anirudh jokingly asks about his coffee. Anjana sends Tanuja to prepare coffee for Anirudh. Tanuja offers her old sarees to Jhanak, who hesitates but accepts them.

Anirudh notices everyone giving gifts to Jhanak and contemplates what to gift her. He acknowledges that they might not be in touch after Jhanak marries Rahul and decides to choose a meaningful gift for her.
