Jhanak: Jhanak comes clean and asserts she and Aniruddha can never be together in this lifetime

Tonight's Jhanak episode opens with Anjana urging Jhanak to eat, but Jhanak refuses. Arundhati expresses that Brij Bhushan's Shradh ritual cannot take place in her house, and Choton questions why this is the case. Bipasha asks Choton about the nature of Jhanak's connection to their family.

Aniruddha suggests that there is another place where the Shradh ritual can be performed. Tanuja questions who will escort Jhanak to this location. Arshi mocks the situation, claiming that Aniruddha and Choton will take Jhanak there and predicts that someday Jhanak will also begin giving orders to Tanuja.

Aniruddha asserts that if anyone other than him takes Jhanak, he will not go. Anjana expresses concern that Jhanak has not eaten in two days and warns that her health will deteriorate if she continues this way. Arundhati remarks that Anjana seems overly concerned about Jhanak. Anjana urges Jhanak to have just a little food. Choton brings vegetables, hoping to get Jhanak to eat, while Aniruddha threatens that Jhanak will have to be hospitalised if she doesn't eat. Bipasha dismisses Jhanak's actions as mere drama. Arshi sarcastically questions how long Jhanak can survive without food.

Arundhati states she doesn't want this drama in her home, and Jhanak declares that she will not perform the Shradh ritual in this house. She adds that she would have left already if she could. Arshi provocatively asks who stopped her, to which Aniruddha responds that he did. Choton and Anjana side with Aniruddha. Tanuja insists that Arshi is the only daughter-in-law of the house. Anjana argues that Jhanak's life is in danger, and she will leave soon. She asks Arundhati if she doesn't think that something unfair has been done to Jhanak.

Arshi claims that she and Srishti want justice, but Aniruddha doesn't care. Aniruddha tells Arshi that if she can't stay with him, she's free to leave. Arshi sharply retorts, accusing him of caring for an outsider in front of her while she can't react. Choton questions what harm Aniruddha and Jhanak have done, and Anjana counters that if Jhanak is considered an outsider, so is Arshi. Arshi says she wouldn't even consider Jhanak her sister and claims it would be shameful if she were.

Aniruddha tells Jhanak to ignore all the commotion and eat. Apu enters the scene and hugs Jhanak, promising to feed her. Bipasha tries to get Arshi to leave, but Apu insists she stay out. As Apu feeds Jhanak, Arundhati comments that one day Jhanak might even eat in this house, to which Jhanak responds with tears. Aniruddha asks Arundhati what she means, and she reveals that she sees how Aniruddha is hurting Arshi. Jhanak announces she will leave once the Shradh ritual for Brij Bhushan is completed.

Later, Aniruddha visits Jhanak's room. She questions his presence and worries about what Arshi would think. Aniruddha expresses concern for his own feelings, noting that Arshi is unhappy with him, and suggests separation might be the best solution. Jhanak insists she doesn't want to be the cause of their breakup. He admits he's frightened of Arshi and feels he can't save their relationship. He declares he wants to live peacefully and happily, which Jhanak believes is a mistake. He explains that technically he is not Arshi's husband anymore and is seeking freedom. Bipasha overhears their conversation and thinks Aniruddha will finally understand Jhanak's true intentions.

Aniruddha asks Jhanak if she would stay with him after he ends things with Arshi. Jhanak immediately rejects the idea, saying it won't ever happen and she doesn't want to be the cause of anyone's breakup. She insists that they can never be together in this lifetime. He responds by saying he will separate from Arshi and come to Jhanak afterward. He mentions he will call Aditya to handle the Shradh ritual. Jhanak assures him that there's no need for that.

Bipasha believes that Aniruddha will soon see Jhanak's true colors once he finds out that Jhanak had already informed Aditya about the ritual. She enters Jhanak's room and gives her instructions, then secretly steals Jhanak's phone.
