Jhanak: Jhanak becomes Notun and embraces a new identity

Tonight's Jhanak episode opens with the Pandit encouraging everyone to take Jhanak with them. Guru ji suggests that they should give her a name. The Pandit then announces that he will perform her a name, declaring her new name as Notun, symbolising her new life. Jhanak beams with joy. One of the girls mentions the upcoming festivities at Pallavi's wedding, and Jhanak leaves to join in.

The Pandit notes that Jhanak is familiar with the dance traditions of their family, specifically mentioning Urvashi, highlighting her connection to their past. Guru ji recalls that he hasn't heard Urvashi's name in a long time, explaining that he has distanced himself from her for her well-being. He expresses concern that if Kul Bhushan discovers he is alive, he would harm Urvashi. Guru ji has altered the course of his life for her sake. The Pandit questions if Urvashi might have been pregnant, hinting that Notun could be their daughter. Guru ji, however, dismisses this thought, visibly emotional.

Arshi bursts into her home, creating chaos as she demands to know Aniruddha's whereabouts. She confronts Bablu, leading to a tense exchange. Lal interrupts to mock Bablu, prompting scoldings from both Bablu and Anjana. As Shubh and Tanuja arrive, Choton, surprised to see Arshi, reminds her that she had already left the household. Arshi asserts that she feels no obligation to explain herself. Dadi advises Arshi that her return was a good decision, to which Arshi retorts about the expectation to stay.

In the ashram, the Pandit observes Jhanak dancing joyfully with others. He tells Guru ji that Kul Bhushan has taken much from him, urging him to confront him and reclaim his life. Guru ji hesitates, expressing doubt about his desire to revive his artistry or confront Urvashi. He reflects on Urvashi's past intentions with Kul Bhushan. Eventually, his fear came true as Kul Bushan left Urwashi.

The Pandit reassures him that Urvashi was deceived and that he never revealed the truth about his identical twin, Kul Bushan. Suspecting she might have got confused between Kul and Brij as they both are so identical. Guru ji confesses his fears of losing everything to Kul Bhushan, prompting the Pandit to encourage him to fight back and settle the score. He implores Guru ji to support Jhanak in showcasing her talent and helps bring light to her story, considering it a twist of fate that she crossed paths with him. Guru ji, now inspired, smiles at the prospect.

Dadi questions Arshi about the situation, stating that Jhanak has passed away. Arshi insists that Jhanak is to blame for the turmoil, claiming she has disrupted everything and led to Shrishti's arrest. Shubh, taken aback, demands to know why he wasn't informed. Arshi mentions that the police believe Shrishti is hiding something, raising concerns about her reputation.

Aniruddha arrives and asserts that the truth will eventually come to light. Jhanak watches a couple performing marriage rituals, triggering memories of her own wedding to Aniruddha. When Guru ji inquires if she is fatigued, Jhanak mentions she has seen temples before where weddings are celebrated. The Pandit and Guru ji try to comfort her, but she suddenly cries out for Aniruddha and faints, alarming everyone. The Pandit checks her condition and revives her with water.

Once conscious, Jhanak is disoriented and questions her surroundings and the people around her. The Pandit reassures her, asking about Aniruddha, to which she fervently replies his name. When asked to share her identity, Jhanak expresses confusion, oscillating between her surnames, finally settling on Jhanak Raina. The Pandit then questions her about Urvashi Raina, and Jhanak confirms that Urvashi is her mother, leaving Guru ji in disbelief.
