Jhanak: Brij Bhushan's death leaves Jhanak devastated

In tonight's Jhanak episode, as the doctor checks Brij Bhushan, Jhanak asks him to speak up, accepting he has lost a significant amount of blood, which has caused him to lose consciousness. However, Aniruddha soon realises that Brij Bhushan has passed away. In a desperate plea, Jhanak asks the doctor to use her blood to save Brij Bhushan. She repeatedly urges the doctor to speak, hoping for some positive news. Aniruddha gently tells Jhanak that they should step outside.

Jhanak refuses to leave Brij Bhushan's side, claiming she cannot live without him. Choton tries to console her, urging her not to speak in such a way. The doctor offers his apologies but firmly tells Jhanak that Brij Bhushan is no longer alive and there's nothing more they can do. Devastated by this news, Jhanak screams in disbelief, insisting that it cannot be true and that Brij Bhushan can't leave her. Bablu wonders aloud what will happen to Jhanak now, and Choton assures him that Jhanak will stay with them.

In a sorrowful moment, Jhanak turns to Aniruddha, asking why Brij Bhushan, who had done nothing wrong, had to meet such an end. She questions why everyone leaves her, expressing that Brij Bhushan only revealed the truth and was punished for it. She breaks down in tears, and Aniruddha promises her that justice will be served. He vows to find the person responsible, but Jhanak sadly points out that it won't bring Brij Bhushan back. She wonders who she will now call father.

Meanwhile, Srishti, feeling guilty, asks Vinayak if she is a murderer now. He harshly reminds her of her past actions, accusing her of being a murderer when she abandoned Jhanak to die. Srishti defends herself, stating that nothing has been proven yet, but Vinayak insists that it is already established, and they are just waiting for the results. He abruptly leaves, and when Srishti stops him to ask where he's going, he declares that he's going to support Jhanak. He tells her not to get involved in the situation, adding that he wants Srishti to be held accountable. He also declares that Jhanak is innocent and doesn't deserve the title of a mother. Srishti reacts, accusing him of no longer loving her. Vinayak responds coldly, saying she doesn't deserve to speak of love and walks away, leaving her to reflect on her thoughts.

The local program is underway in the Basti. The host announces that Lalon and Apu will perform, and then calls Kajol to the stage. She shares the story of Lalon's rise as a singer and praises Apu for her talents. Apu asks Lalon if Kajol is praising her, but Jimli interrupts, urging Apu not to speak. Anuradha tells Jimli to stop causing trouble, and Jimli threatens to leave, prompting Anuradha to tell her to go.

Bablu tries to comfort Jhanak, reminding her that Brij Bhushan would not want to see her in such despair. Choton reassures her that she still has Brij Bhushan's blessings. Jhanak, however, feels betrayed, stating that he broke his promise and left her. She mourns that she is now orphaned again. Bablu offers her to stay in his home, but she refuses to go there.

Aniruddha steps in, telling Jhanak that Brij Bhushan entrusted her care to him, so he will take responsibility for her future decisions. He reassures her that he will support her, but insists they first complete the hospital formalities. Choton suggests they should perform a postmortem, but Jhanak refuses, unwilling to subject Brij Bhushan to further pain. Aniruddha explains the necessity of this step to catch the culprit, and Bablu agrees, emphasising the importance of justice for Brij Bhushan.

After a short while, Aniruddha suggests they head home, but Choton encourages Jhanak to be strong. Jhanak, insisting she cannot be alone, asks Aniruddh to drop her at her house. Bablu, however, refuses to let Jhanak live by herself, and she again declines to stay at Bablu's home. Aniruddha promises he will handle everything and, if Jhanak insists, he will accompany her to her house.

Aniruddha receives a call from Arshi, who demands to know when he will arrive and tells him not to bring anyone else. He calmly tells her that he will make the decisions and hangs up. Jhanak, meanwhile, says she wants to go to Mumbai, but Bablu insists she cannot leave before performing Brij Bhushan's last rites. Jhanak stubbornly expresses her desire to remain at home, surrounded by Brij Bhushan's memories. Aniruddha, understanding her pain, agrees to stay with her.

Jhanak, however, protests, saying that no one can force her into anything, but Aniruddha reassures her that he won't leave her side. He takes her hand, declaring that he will never let go.
