Jhanak: Bipasha's plan succeeds as Aniruddha drifts away from Jhanak

Tonight's Jhanak episode begins with Aditya informing Aniruddha that Jhanak wants to settle down with him and marry him. Aniruddha is stunned by this revelation and mentions that Jhanak never told him about it. Aditya asks Aniruddha to keep this information to himself and promises to keep Jhanak happy, adding that she will soon work towards becoming famous.

Bipasha tells Arshi that it appears Aditya has shared Jhanak's decision with Aniruddha. Arshi hopes Aniruddha will understand Jhanak's true nature. Bipasha believes Aniruddha won't trust Jhanak anymore and suggests they stay cautious, making sure Jhanak remains unaware of their plans.

Jhanak performs aarti for everyone but is stopped by Aniruddha when she approaches him. She asks him what's wrong, and he tells her to give the aarti to Aditya instead, stating that since they've parted ways, she needn't do this for him. Jhanak is confused by his words, but Aniruddha walks away. Bipasha feels pleased that their plan is working.

The next day, Aditya welcomes the Basu family. Anjana praises the arrangements, and Jhanak expresses her gratitude to them, mentioning how her father was once insignificant to the Basu family but they still performed Brij Bhushan's shraddh. Bablu adds that all the credit should go to Aniruddha. Jhanak tells Anjana and Bablu that she won't be returning soon from Mumbai because she wants to make something of herself. Bablu reminds her that the court verdict is also due soon, but Jhanak, who fought for the truth, reassures them that she will handle the case via video call.

Aditya greets Lalon and Apu and announces a special surprise. Apu asks Lalon what's special, and he replies that he only knows about dinner. Aditya reveals there's more in store. Apu then approaches Jhanak, complimenting her.

Choton and Mrinalini arrive, with Mrinalini giving Jhanak a hug. She tells Jhanak that Aditya did well by organising this dinner. She also mentions that while Jhanak may be in pain, she shouldn't get used to it. Anjana asks Mrinalini when she will visit the Basu house, to which Mrinalini hints at talking about marriage. Choton, embarrassed, retreats inside. Apu complains about their financial troubles, mentioning how even Jhanak will leave, which makes her sad. Lalon asks Apu if it's the right time to bring it up, and Apu responds that she's talking to her family. She shares that she sang with Lalon and earned money.

Aditya welcomes Aniruddha and the others, including Dadi. Aniruddha wonders if Aditya plans to announce his marriage. Jhanak is puzzled, unsure of Aditya's intentions. Aditya encourages everyone to enjoy the party. Apu comments to Aniruddha that Jhanak looks beautiful, and jokes that they seem like a married couple. Aniruddha brushes her off. Lalon then ushers Apu away for dinner.

Dadi suggests that Aditya should marry soon because no one can stay alone forever. She asks him why he hasn't married Jhanak yet. Aditya nods but avoids giving a direct answer. He then tells Jhanak that they should perform a ritual. Aniruddha, sensing tension, urges them to do it quickly.

Bipasha wonders if their plans will backfire, and Arshi eagerly waits to see Jhanak's reaction. Aditya takes Jhanak to the stage and thanks the guests for attending. He reveals that a small ceremony will take place now, and Jhanak, still confused, asks what's going on. Aditya then surprises her by announcing that he intends to place a ring on her finger and make her his. The crowd claps.

Jhanak, stunned, asks him what this is all about. Aditya apologises for not informing her about the ring earlier and reveals how Jhanak had messaged him. He says he's happy that she has finally accepted him, though it took some time. Jhanak denies sending any messages and asks Aditya why he's saying this. Aditya, showing her the messages, asks why she's denying it now. Dadi wonders why Jhanak is acting shy.

Shubu sarcastically remarks that Jhanak has Aniruddha in Kolkata and Aditya in Mumbai. Aniruddha tells Jhanak that it's fine if she had messaged Aditya but doesn't understand why she's denying it now. Jhanak insists that she didn't send any message. Aditya questions if she's accusing him of lying. Shubo insults Jhanak, calling her the type of girl who uses others and never settles down in life. Arshi agrees, saying it's clear that Jhanak is not as virtuous as she appears. Bipasha adds that Jhanak has troubled Aniruddha and is now doing the same to Aditya, asking how she can play with his emotions.

Aditya, frustrated, tells Jhanak that he decided to marry her because he loves her, but her behavior is humiliating him in front of everyone. Mrinalini suggests it's possible that someone else messaged Aditya from Jhanak's phone. Apu stands up for Jhanak, saying she never lies. Bipasha disagrees, claiming it's not possible.

Aniruddha suggests that Jhanak may just be too shy to admit it in front of everyone. Jhanak is shocked by his words.

In the precap, Aniruddha confronts Jhanak, accusing her of lying. Jhanak, visibly upset, tells him that he changes his opinions easily. She apologises to Aditya and leaves the gathering.
