Jhanak: Arshi opposes aborting her first child, decides to raise it alone

Tonight's Jhanak episode begins with Aditya expressing his concerns to Aniruddha, stating that Kul Bhushan might remain quiet if Jhanak refrains from fighting. However, Aniruddha disagrees, reminding Aditya that Jhanak recently lost her father and has every right to stand her ground. He firmly supports Jhanak's decision to fight for justice. Changing the subject, Aditya advises Aniruddha to finalise his wedding date with Jhanak soon.

Aniruddha hesitates, explaining that his family is already upset, making it difficult to discuss marriage at this time. Despite his hesitation, Aditya urges him to act swiftly. Aniruddha reflects on how meeting Jhanak taught him the meaning of love but admits to feeling guilty about Arshi. Aditya advises him to be decisive, but Aniruddha confesses that he wronged Arshi. When Jhanak approaches, Aniruddha ends the call, telling Aditya they'll continue the conversation later.

Jhanak confronts Aniruddha, questioning whether she asked him to do all this. He defends himself, stating that she misunderstood because she didn't hear him out completely. Frustrated, Jhanak suggests he should contact Arshi if he feels so guilty. Aniruddha responds that he needs to speak to his family about their marriage and insists he has been transparent with her. He pleads with Jhanak to understand his situation, explaining that his guilt stems from the fact that Arshi left because of him.

Meanwhile, Arshi experiences nausea, prompting Srishti to inquire about her health. Arshi attributes it to indigestion, but Srishti asks if she has experienced this before. When Arshi admits she has, Srishti suspects pregnancy and suggests taking a test. Arshi is taken aback and insists it's not possible but reluctantly agrees to test. She declares that if she is pregnant, she will not terminate the pregnancy, as this will be her first child. She expresses her determination to raise the child alone if needed. Srishti warns her about the challenges of single parenthood, but Arshi remains resolute. Srishti emphasises the importance of confirming the pregnancy before making decisions.

Arshi confides in Srishti about her intent to inform Aniruddha of the pregnancy, as he is the father. Srishti advises her to choose the right moment to disclose the news and suggests they visit the hospital the following day for confirmation.

The next morning, Srishti advises Arshi to think carefully before making any final decisions. However, Arshi remains firm in her stance, stating that she will not terminate the pregnancy and believes Aniruddha will regret his actions once he learns the truth. Srishti, however, doubts that Aniruddha will be affected.

Aniruddha, on the other hand, tells his family that he cannot postpone his wedding any longer and asks for their support. Shubhankar criticises him, accusing him of being shameless. Aniruddha remains firm, asserting that the wedding will proceed regardless of their disapproval. Laal rebukes him, claiming he is overstepping boundaries, but Aniruddha defends his decision, arguing that there is nothing wrong with divorce.

Bablu expresses his disapproval, stating the situation feels wrong, while Anjana urges Jhanak to speak up. Jhanak declares her intention to proceed with the marriage, prompting Bipasha to mock her, and Arundati to chastise her. Tanuja questions Aniruddha about Arshi, but he dismisses their concerns, insisting he will make his own decisions. He reveals plans for a grand wedding, further angering Shubhankar, who accuses Jhanak of stealing his son. Jhanak denies any such intention.

Choton, however, declares he will attend the wedding, leading to further discord. Shubhankar calls the situation unjust, but Aniruddha reiterates his determination to marry Jhanak as soon as possible. Bablu, frustrated, implies that Jhanak manipulated the situation for her benefit, to which Jhanak sarcastically agrees. Arundati warns Jhanak that she will lose Aniruddha, just as they did, causing Jhanak to shout in frustration. Bipasha reprimands her, but Jhanak defiantly asserts that Aniruddha will not leave her. Meanwhile, Aniruddha reflects on Jhanak's reaction, understanding why she is so distressed.
