Jhanak: Aniruddha faces the risk of losing his family by supporting Jhanak

Tonight's Jhanak episode opens with Arundhati questioning Tanuja about Aniruddha's whereabouts. Tanuja reveals that Aniruddha left early in the morning and due to his recent behaviour, she chose not to inquire about his reasons. She mentions that Shubu had advised Aniruddha to move abroad, but he rejected the suggestion. Tanuja expresses her confusion over Aniruddha's preference for Jhanak over Arshi.

Bipasha speculates that Jhanak might be practising black magic, and Laal suggests that Shubu and Tanuja should make a firm decision regarding Aniruddha's actions. Tanuja points out that Bablu and Anjana supported Aniruddha in his dealings with Jhanak, which she believes was a mistake. Bipasha insists that Jhanak's intentions were clear from the start, adding that Jhanak had used both Rahul and Aditya. Tanuja sarcastically remarks on how Jhanak suddenly "found" her father.

Elsewhere, Bablu tells Mrinalini that Choton is a good person, but he has other matters to attend to and leaves. Mrinalini then teases Choton, asking if he's sure Bablu saw them together, given that he had once described him as unromantic.

Anjana stands by Jhanak, but Bipasha argues that Jhanak has shown no interest in visiting Anjana, even after Aniruddha saved her from Tejas. Arundhati, feeling frustrated, says that despite Jhanak being saved, she has not made an effort to reach out. Anjana defends Jhanak, claiming there must be a reason for her actions.

Tanuja believes Jhanak's indifference proves that she does not care about them. Bipasha accuses Jhanak of plotting to steal their property. Laal asserts that Shubu won't spare Jhanak or her father if their actions continue. Tanuja then turns to Anjana, urging her to trust her family over outsiders. Anjana stands firm, saying Jhanak is truthful, which is why she accused Srishti. She vows to hear nothing against Jhanak and walks away.

Laal advises Tanuja to threaten Aniruddha, telling him that if he doesn't cut ties with Jhanak, she and Shubu will sever all connections with him. He insists that only such a move will make Aniruddha reconsider his choices. Tanuja agrees and says she will speak to Shubu about it.

The following day, Shubu calls Kavita to the witness stand, and Jhanak wonders about Brij Bhushan's whereabouts. Meanwhile, Vinayak shares his concern with Srishti over her Guruji's sudden disappearance. Srishti insists she knows nothing. Vinayak holds onto the belief that the truth will prevail.

Shubu asks Kavita to introduce herself, and she shocks everyone, especially Srishti and Jhanak, by claiming she is Brij Bhushan's wife. Shubu explains that Kavita is a key witness and asserts that Brij Bhushan forced her into marriage and refused to acknowledge their child. He accuses Brij Bhushan of ruining many lives and asks Kavita to recount how she met him.

Kavita shares that she came from a poor background but had a passion for dance. She met Brij Bhushan during a dance competition, where he promised to help her pursue her dreams. However, she claims Brij Bhushan betrayed her, never paying her for her performances. Despite this, she says she believed they were in a loving relationship. Eventually, when she became pregnant, she asked him to marry her, but he rejected her and disappeared, leaving her abandoned by her own family.

Srishti reacts with a smile, and Kavita continues, saying that Brij Bhushan accused her of blackmailing him for money. She recounts a time when she considered suicide but ultimately chose life for the sake of her unborn child. She explains that she eventually met Brij Bhushan's friends and pressured him into marrying her under duress. Kavita produces a birth certificate of her daughter as proof.

Kavita tells the court that after giving birth, Brij Bhushan vanished, and she later saw a woman at his house who promised to take care of her daughter. The woman took the child, and Kavita reveals that this woman is Jhanak's mother. Jhanak, in disbelief, asks the court how many women will claim to be her mother. Shubu responds that he understands Jhanak's emotional reaction but emphasises that he has presented solid evidence.

Jhanak's lawyer questions Kavita about where she has been living, and she responds that she resides in a shelter home called Hriday. Just as things seem to reach a deadlock, Kul Bhushan enters the courtroom, and Kavita identifies him as her husband, Brij Bhushan. Shubu immediately corrects her, saying that Kul Bhushan is not Brij Bhushan. Srishti, knowing the twist, is shocked. Vinayak silently wonders what the final outcome of the case will be.
