Jennifer Mistry Criticizes TMKOC Makers for Ignoring Gurucharan Singh’s Troubles: "Woh log kisike nahi hai"

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, known for her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), has openly criticized the show's makers. She accused them of failing to support her co-star Gurucharan Singh during his financial and personal struggles. Mistry, who played the role of Singh’s wife in the sitcom, left the show in 2023, alleging harassment by Asit Kumarr Modi, Sohail Ramani, and Jatin Bajaj.

In a recent interview, Jennifer revealed how Gurucharan once approached her for financial help. She shared, “Gurucharan Singh had once asked me to help him with Rs 1 lakh to clear his credit card dues. I agreed, but he later told me he didn’t need it immediately and would let me know. A few days later, he asked for Rs 17 lakh. Unfortunately, I couldn’t help him due to my financial issues.”

Jennifer also questioned the TMKOC makers’ lack of support for Gurucharan.

The discussion about Gurucharan’s financial troubles has been in the spotlight after his close friend Bhakti Soni revealed that he owes Rs 1.5 crore. Bhakti mentioned that even Gurucharan’s family hasn’t stepped up to support him during this tough phase.

Bhakti also explained the complexities surrounding Gurucharan’s debt. “He had a debt of about Rs 1.2 crore, but his father owns a property worth ?55 crore. The issue is that tenants aren’t vacating the property, causing delays in selling it. If the matter is resolved, he can repay the loan,” she told ETimes.

Adding to his woes, Gurucharan Singh is currently hospitalized, though details about his health remain unclear. Fans are hoping for his speedy recovery and resolution of his financial issues.
