Jas Karan, no more the eligible bachelor...

The year of 2010 has been really happening for Jas Karan Singh aka Uday of Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum.

The actor is no more the eligible bachelor in tellydom, as he got married to his long time girl friend Ashwini on December 25th 2009.

Confirming the news, Jas told Telly Buzz, "Yes, I got married to my girl friend Ashwini on December 25th. We have been seeing each other for the past six years. She has been my best friend, and I being her loyal boy friend thought that this was the best time to solemnize our relationship. We kept our marriage a simple affair. She is a Gujju and her parents wanted us to get married in a simple way. So we took Saat Pheres and got married in the Gurudwara. I then threw a small party at my new apartment for my friends and co-stars".

Elaborating on the way in which love blossomed, Jas Karan states, "I met her at my previous job, and she has been my support system since then. She has been with me all thro' my struggling phase as an actor. She has been so very understanding, that she changed me completely. I used to be this careless boy who never took responsibilities seriously, but she has placed trust in me always (smiles). Now it is my turn to prove that I am really trustworthy".
