Jaineeraj Rajpurohit bags Kajol’s ‘Salaam Venky’

Actor Jaineeraj Rajpurahit has carved a niche with his performances in various television shows and movies. He is known for his stints in projects like Oh My God, Outsourced, Balika Vadhu, Sufiyana Pyaar Mera among others. The actor was also in talks to replace Shailesh Lodha in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ as Tarak. However, Sachin Shroff bagged the part.

Now, the latest buzz is that Jaineeraj Rajpurohit is all set to feature in yet another big budget Bollywood movie titled ‘Salaam Venky’ which has actress Kajol in the lead role. The project is directed by Revathi.

The film was announced in October 2021, tentatively titled The Last Hurrah. The announcement consisted of a picture Kajol and Revathi. Later, the name was changed to ‘Salaam Venky’ when the shooting started. The story of the film revolves around a true story of a woman and the challenges she faces in life.

Apart from Jaineeraj and Kajol, the project also stars actors like Rajeev Khandelwal, Vishal Jethwa, Aahana Kumra among others. The movie is stated to also have Aamir Khan’s cameo appearance.
